Snapple: The Secret Soda

Snapple is soda without carbonation. For those of you who do not know, carbonation is that fizzy almost stingy feeling you get in your mouth when you drink soda. Basically drink seltzer with no flavor added, and that is carbonated water. Anyways you know that fizzy stuff is not in Snapple. Snapple is sold in school cafeterias. While soda is prohibited. Although, taking a closer look at the labels between the two drinks it becomes apparent they have similar sugar and carbohydrate gram amounts. Snapple is simply viewed as healthy because of false marketing. Every major company does this when advertising, although because the whole of America knows soda is bad for you they are distracted when they see a new drink that is “Made with the Best Stuff on Earth.” Snapple claims to be made with all natural ingredients. Yes this is true, they use sugar instead of poisonous fructose, but Snapple still has sugar like soda. Americans are so caught up in finding a solution to their soda addiction (diet soda, which is arguably worse than regular) they are quick to say how healthy this new drink that meets their diabetic needs that they wave off the fact Snapple is poison as well as any other “Natural Fruit Drink.”
