Summer Reading Benefits: Why You Should Do It!

Summer reading is great for students in school because it makes sure they read at least one book and comprehended the meaning of it during the period of summer. Summer’s three month period can make people forget altogether about school. While summer reading helps students have a reminder they must read during the summer in order to get a good grade to start off the year. It prevents people from doing o schoolwork during the summer. Also, it may even make people do even more schoolwork as to push their academics further than just one book reading. Personally, summer reading got me interested in even more books. This is because I read the book “The Monster Calls” by Patrick Ness. It won an award and I liked the book so much that I searched up books with the same award and found “The Witch’s Boy” which is now what I'm reading. Summer reading can do a lot.
