The Board of Education: The World's Thankless Job

Being a member of the Board of Education is truly a thankless job. For instance, whenever you agree with one side the other always hates you. You can never actually be fully liked by everyone. Sometimes, you have to be brave and stick with your beliefs. Not following the herd. Making decisions based on the facts presented to everyone that stick to what you believe is common sense. But no matter what, members are never fully appreciated for what they have done for their communities. Every single board member deserves to be appreciated. Though sadly, that is not the current state of School Boards I am afraid at this time. I guess we’ll just have to power through this.
