"Lion Down" Analysis Lincoln Stone Political Influence/Power
In the novel “Lion Down” by Stuart Gibbs on page 56 the author compiled, “He wasn’t the kind of person you wanted to get angry at you. If we did, he could cause all kinds of trouble for us.” This conveys, to the reader the sheer magnitude of Lincoln Stone’s political influence/power. For instance, Lincoln threatened Tommy with his boss as well. The sad part was that Lincoln could actually ruin ommy’s and his boss’s career with the snap of his chubby little. Lincoln didn’t even earn his political clout the right way. He just started ranting on a radio one day and became famous. Thus, even though he didn’t earn his influence properly (he still has it) make sure to still watch out!!!
"Lion Down" Analysis Lincoln's Judgement for His Fanbase's Pleasure
In the novel “Lion Down”
by Stuart Gibbs on page 55 the author compiled, “‘I’ll bet he killed his own
dog so he could have an excuse to shoot Rocket.’” This quote shows, Lincoln’s
lengths he will go to satisfy his clout. His clout is people who own guns and
like to shoot animals. To please them, he makes demands and irrational acts
against animals. Lily even believes he would injure his own pet dog and then
frame it on the mountain lion in order to kill that too. Just coming to show
how evil Lincoln Stone can really be in life.
“Lion Down” Analysis Lincoln Stone’s Tolerance For Children
In the novel “Lion Down”
by Stuart Gibbs on page 52 the author compiled, “What on Earth are you doing
here with a kid? This isn’t a daycare. It’s my home.” This quote shows,
Lincoln’s tolerance for children (no matter what accomplishments they have) who
are in his vicinity. This is yet another example on how Lincoln’s TV personnel
is so contrary from how he actually acts behind cameras or when the cameras are
turned off. Showing, Lincoln (like many celebrities) are not always as it
seems.
