"Lion Down" Analysis Family Bonds

In the novel “Lion Down” by Stuart Gibbs on page 35 the author compiles, “i could see the brown, dusty patch where the Wilds was being built and close to that the trailer park where I lived with my parents.” This quote shows Teddy cannot ever be mentally separated from his family. This is because, no matter where he goes, what case he is on, or which friend he is with his family is always on his mind. Whether it is a text message from his mom or he is hanging from a rope above an open crocodile exhibit that has live crocodiles in it. This is an important driving factor that keeps up his perseverance.
