In the novel “Lion Down”
by Stuart Gibbs on page 25 the author composes, “I had the first ten years of
my life in the Congo in Africa, where I tried to learn everything I could about
the local wildlife. And how I’d been in texas over a year without even hearing
about the mountain lions.” This quote shows, Teddy is disappointed he has less
knowledge than Summer about the local animals in Texas Hill County. He must
feel this way because Summer is just the daughter of a billionaire who built a
“zoo” (really a theme park). Teddy was the one born in Congo and raised by two
animal obsessed parents who worked for FunJungle. Surely he should be the one
who is more knowledgeable about any animal on the world compared to Summer.
Nonetheless, a local mountain lion. If I were him and had his qualifications I
would be just plain embarassed.
