"Lion Down" Analysis Vivid Vocabulary

In the novel “Lion Down” by Stuart Gibbs on page 5 the author writes, “This turned out to be a shrewd idea.” This quote described how insightful Summer’s idea about feeding the penguins in a way that would allow them to act as if they were hunting. The author describes her idea as shrewd. The dictionary definition states that “shrewd” means, “the sharp powers of judgement; astute” Which leads the reader to believe Summer creates and thinks of many clever brainchilds on a daily basis. Concluding, she is not only Summer McCracken but a contributing developer of FunJungle.
